They key to successful lawn lies in the soil upon which it grows. Over the course of the season, the grass roots draw the nutrients they need from the soil, and constant replenishing of these nutrients is required to keep your lawn green and healthy. In addition, parts of the lawn may get damaged due to increased traffic, or close proximity to nutrient- draining plants and trees.

Southern Canada. As cute as it may seem, it is a wild animal, and when adjusting to city life –   it doesn’t always gets along well with humans and their needs… In our Sodding service work, we come across Raccoons often times, and we know,that underestimating its abilities can result in extensive damage.

When sod is laid, the fresh soil underneath coupled with high levels of moisture (new sod needs to be watered 2-3 times a day during the first weeks) attracts worms and grubs (delicacy for Raccoons) to the top of the surface – right under the sod. [Read more...]

Summer 2010 marks our 6th year in business. As our team sat down one wintry night to plan the upcoming season, we all agreed that having an open communication channel with our clients, where we can provide timely and valuable information and address various concerns will be of value to our clients and their friends.
