During August 2010, Niko’s Sodding crew will install, FREE OF CHARGE, a brand new lawn, somewhere in Toronto or the GTA. Somewhere where YOU feel it’s needed. Read on to know about our Community Lawn Project.

About the Community Lawn Project

Working and operating in Toronto and the GTA, we’ve decided it’s time we did something good for the community.

As professional Sod installers, we thought how cool it could be if we installed a brand new lawn – somewhere where kids, the elderly, or a whole community could really enjoy it. FREE.

What will our effort include?

1. The provision and delivery of all required Soil and Sod.
2. All required ground preparations and the Sod installation itself.
3. The installation of a hose and a portable sprinkler to water the new lawn 
4. A watering computer – to make sure the lawn is watered on time.

But how will we decide where to install this lawn? How do we know who really wants it? Where is it needed the most?

That’s where we need you: you know your neighborhood.

Project Site Selection Guidelines

Max project size: 2500 square feet

Location: public or private, it needs to be a place where a lawn will be enjoyed by kids, the elderly, or a whole community – and where for one reason ($$$) or another a lawn cannot be installed

How we decide on which project to pursue: that’s simple. The location getting the most votes – will be the one to enjoy a brand-new lawn!
