We hired Niko's to re-sod both our front and back yards which were in rough shape. Greg came out promptly to provide a quote and was able to work with our budget. He even managed to get the job squeezed in before a big bbq we had planned with very little notice. The crew showed up right on time, and were pleasant and hardworking. But, most importantly, they did a fantastic job. The lawn looks great and the shaping of the turf around the trees, plants and stone work looks elegant and professional. They appeared right on schedule and ultimately did a stellar job of installing the new sod and cleaning up totally before they left. In fact Niko's crew of 3 men did the same job in considerably less time it took another alleged landscaping company with a crew of 5 men to do a year prior for me. On the advice of the other company I had permanent racoon netting installed which I am sure contributed to dead sod and the lawn needing replacement. And I followed their watering protocol precisely. It certainly made even area reseeding impossible since the netting interfered with simple thatching. Niko also included additional maintenance and watering tips that the other company never mentioned. Any company can replace your lawn but only a professional landscaping operation can do it right. Niko’s has been taking care of our lawn and our snow removal for 2 years, and we are very happy with the service provided. During the warm months, we are thrilled with the health of our grass, and get compliments on its appearance from neighbours all the time! In winter, snow is removed quickly and early – we never worry about getting out of our driveway after a big snow storm. Niko’s will even return for a second round of plowing/shovelling if required. The company is excellent at communicating with customers and will send out emails with status of plows during storms. We never wonder if they will show up in any season – they’re always prompt, and keep us up-to-date.

We did a big overhaul in our backyard which included re-sodding this past June. It could not have gone any smoother thanks to the outstanding service we received from Niko’s Gardening! From the initial consultation/estimate to the completion of the project, Greg was very friendly, and professional. We contacted 3 companies and I knew immediately after meeting Greg from Niko’s that we felt comfortable with Niko’s. In addition, their price was very reasonable and the soil/sod was fantastic quality. Greg and his team did an amazing job. Our new sod looked amazing and was green and lush! In addition, we had quite a few eye sores in the back yard- huge tree stumps in the middle of the yard, and a huge poured concrete block that posed a bit of a problem since we decided last minute we wanted to have grass over the whole lawn and not just around the area of the concrete or the stumps. Greg provided us with several solutions as to what we could do and not go too much over budget. If you want great quality and great service for lawn installation I would highly recommend Niko’s Gardening!

We hired Niko’s Gardening Inc to give our front yard a face lift. From the initial quote, done by Greg, to the final result we had an amazing experience with the team at Niko’s. We had a front yard full of weeds, plants and shrubs that died from the ice storm. The team removed it all and left us with a beautiful green and health lawn. We were so happy with the result we now booked Niko’s to do our back yard this year after we removed couple of big trees (As recommended by Greg) to allow more sun into our yard. Excited to finally be able to enjoy the back yard this year with our new born baby. We will recommend Niko’s Gardening to anybody that is looking for a great service and amazing result.

If one is looking for a quality sodding company, get Niko’s Gardening Inc. I am writing this review two weeks after the job was completed. I wanted to ensure that I see the result before I say something. When I searched for a sodding company, Niko’s Gardening’s very informative website caught my attention but the crew knew what they were doing. Job quality was key for me. Pricing was also important. I got both. I was quoted and got quality sodding material[Zander sod, Grow-Max soil(better than Triple Mix), river stone]. I was impressed with the way Greg Peker handled the whole transaction from the quotation to the final job. He had a hands-on style of ensuring that the job was according to specification. The day the crew worked on my lawn, I was around to see each step of the sodding process and Greg did not only walked(explained) me through the process but showed me each step completion and for my confirmation. It was not really required of him but sensing my attention to detail, Greg was working with his crew to ensure a job well done. I highly recommend
